Ethics

The Peretti Museum Foundation will do everything in its power to ease the hardships of people working in gemstone mines and doing fieldwork in Myanmar and elsewhere to the best of its ability. This will occur either directly, through private contributions, or indirectly with the aid of local organizations and churches, or via international organizations that focus their efforts on helping children, the elderly and disabled in mining communities within the law and framework of the host country.

The Museum makes the utmost effort to ethically source research material while promoting the protection of nature, the safety for workers, and the use of non-child labour.

Ethics Mission
